    Description: 
    Abstract wood sculpture, pentagonal in shape in circumference, open in center. About half-way up are five vertical pieces of wood connected by steel rods to five bowl-shaped pieces of wood that open towards the sky.

    Remarks: 
    Artist was reportedly inspired by the large, old trees on campus and saw the school as a place where things grow. Wood signified growth and strength. The sculpture was repaired by the artist in 1985.
