Remarks:
Sculpture was moved a few feet back from highway by Department of Transportation for safety reasons. Originally crafted as a mailbox holder. IAS files contain excerpt from the catalogue of an exhibition organized by Anna Wadsworth and titled "Missing Pieces, Georgia Folk Art 1770-1976," Georgia Council for the Arts and Humanities, 1976, pg. 14, which includes image of sculpture before proper right hand broken off.
