Description:
A bust of William Jackson Royal, known as "Uncle Billy," wearing a lapelled jacket, atop an inscribed base, in front of a slab. The bust is part of a memorial to The Royal Singing Convention and Tabernacle and is surrounded by steles with history, descriptive text, and names. The memorial has a brick surface and is encompassed by a low brick wall.

Remarks:
William Jackson Royal, 1850-1931, known as "Uncle Billy," and a small group of singers, organized the Royal Singing Convention in 1892. The memorial that includes the bust was dedicated by Uncle Billy's grandchildren to him. IAS files contain partial transcription of two nearby plaques that discuss Uncle Billy and the memorial.
