Bronze bust of Philip E. Boyd topping a granite baldachin on a stepped granite base with inscriptions. He is bearded and dressed in business attire. The baldachin comprises four columns.

Sometime between 1980 and 1990 the monument was moved from intersection of East Main and Hotel Street approximately one block to face Depot Street. The reason for relocation was because cars hit it and children would climb on it.
