Description:
Atop a two-tiered pedestal stands an Indian chief wearing a feather-skirt, a headdress, and a necklace. He holds a spear in his proper left hand and is pouring water out of a cup in his proper right hand. The water cascades into a large waterfall covering the upper tier of the pedestal. In front of the waterfall is a nude woman. Seven men in loincloths surround the lower tier: one in front and three to either side. The woman and each of the men has a bow and arrow aimed at the chief. The pedestal sits in an empty pond basin.

Remarks:
Presented by the artist and the Friends of Tomoka State Park. Chief Tomokie was slain by Oleeta in defense of the Golden Cup. Scale model is located at the Fred Dana Marsh Museum in Tomoka State Park. IAS image files contain a photo of the scale modeI. IAS files contain transcription of nearby plaque. The plaque was donated in honor of Fred Dana Marsh and Mabel Van Alstine Marsh by Julius Davidson. Many of the original materials have been replaced through the state park's maintenance and repairs.
