Medium:  Figure: tan granite; Base: gray granite. Dimensions:  Figure: approx. 7 x 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 ft.; Base: approx. 11 x 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 ft. Inscription:  (Incised on front of base:) PRESENTED TO/THE TOWN OF WOLCOTT/BY/LEVERETT DWIGHT KENEA/IN MEMORY OF THE SOLDIERS/WHO FOUGHT IN/THE WAR OF THE REVOLUTION/THE WAR OF 1812/AND/THE CIVIL WAR/A.D. 1916 unsigned Description:  Standing full-length figure of a uniformed Civil War soldier. He is clean shaven and wears an unbelted long coat. The soldier holds the barrel of a rifle with only his proper right hand, with the butt of the rifle resting on the plinth in front of his proper left foot. He stands atop a granite base with incised text on polished granite.
