    Description: 
    A draped obelisk, with Civil War relief carvings of crossed flags, and rifles fitted with bayonets and wreaths. On the lower front of the obelisk is a shield.

    Remarks: 
    The monument marks the gravesite of the Brooks family, including two sons, William D. Brooks and George S. Brooks, who died during the Civil War. The exact dates of the monument are unknown. It may have been erected in the 1880s, after the sons' death; or the stone might not have been cut until after the father's death in 1905.
