Remarks:
Sculpture was a project of the Class of 1987. It was constructed by the metals technology students of Duane Swanson and the art students of Patt Dikeman. Lynn Kopaz's Carpentry class built the form for the base and science teacher Linda Overlin oversaw the landscaping. Students who participated include Pete Walter and Steve Walker who did much of the work, Al Rivera, who made a final sketch out of culminated student drawings and Keith Weaver and Eric Huntsman. IAS files include a press release from the school district and related articles from the Gazette Telegraph (Colorado Springs, CO), May 14, 1988 and the Cheyenne Edition, May 20, 1988.
