Description:
Four figures standing back to back, each facing outwards to one of the four cardinal directions. The south figure represents a naval marine. He holds a rifle at port arms and wears a uniform consisting of a shirt with rolled up sleeves, trousers, a belt with pouches and a brimless hat. The east figure is of a sailor with his proper left hand on his hip and his proper right arm by his side. He wears a navy uniform consisting of trousers, a pullover shirt with a kerchief and a hat. The north figure is of an Army soldier in the combat gear of World War II. He holds a rifle at rest position on his proper left side. The north figure is an Air Force soldier, in dress gear.
