Description:
A young sailor looking out to sea, leans forward, resting his proper left foot on a dock post. He is dressed in uniform, with sailor's cap and scarf tie. He wears an unbuttoned navy peacoat with upturned collar, and bell-bottom pants. His duffle bag sits next to the dock post. The entire sculpture sits atop a raised platform with granite foundation. Steps lead up to the platform on four sides.
