Description:
Six sculptures of various types of seats and tables are arranged along the River Promenade. One piece is a circular bench and a circular table wrapped around an enlarged lamp portion of a street lamp. Two lounge seats made of wood and metal slats face one another. Between these two seats is a tree with a metal seat and table encircling it. Two matching seats are made of polished stone steps with a tall stone slab at the back.

Remarks:
IAS files contain a copy of Battery Park City Art Collection's Technical Information Sheet which includes information on copyright and maintenance of the piece. IAS files also contain a diagram of the setting and the placement of each seat along the Hudson River Promenade. Tallix fabricated the steel portions; New England Stone Industries fabricated the stone portions; and the wood work was done by Artschwager and MacGregor. Walter Lawler installed the stone portions and Tallix installed the tables and lounge chairs.
