    Remarks: 
    Erected by the 99th Pennsylvania Veterans Association and others, this monument is one of 110 honoring individual Pennsylvania commands at Gettysburg and one of 2 which honors the 99th Pennsylvania Infantry. It was originally located at Houck's Ridge, later the location of the second monument. It was moved to its present site in 1889. The sculpture indicates the position held by the regiment on July 3, 1863. The sculpture (referred to as MN 222) is referenced in the Gettysburg National Military Park Archives, vol. 32.
