    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was created for the YMCA Memorial Youth Center which was designed in 1950 by architect, Donald L. Hardison, in memory of those lost in World War II. Donald L. Hardison paid for the concrete base which was created by Elmer J. Freethy, the contractor for the Memorial Youth Center. IAS files contain a letter from the artist, dated May 6, 1994 and a letter from the architect, Donald L. Hardison, dated May 24, 1994.
