    Remarks:
The college provided five hundred dollars to cover the costs of the materials. Sculptor was an Associate Professor of Art at Bethel College from 1960 to 1989. Fountain has been refurbished, including welding of rusted joints and a new, uniform, white epoxy coating. The sculpture was originally silver and white, and the silver surfaces were eliminated without the artist's knowledge. Students and children often play in and around the basin.
