Description:
An exact replica of the Liberty Bell cast in bronze. The bell hangs in an open pagoda structure made of round timbers. Directly below the bell is a World War II memorial marker with an eagle insignia carved on the face.

Remarks:
The bell is one of 100 exact replicas of the original Liberty Bell. The bell was made in London, England by the same foundry that made the original. Funds to pay for the bell were collected by the Lions Club. The bell was first rung as part of the Port Angeles Bicentennial celebration on July 4, 1976. IAS files contain copies of related articles from The Daily News (Port Angeles, WA) July 1 and July 4, 1976.
