Inscription:  Marjorie C. Wetzel, Robert D. Farley, Richard B. Trask (On front of lectern:) IN MEMORY OF THOSE INNOCENTS/WHO DIED DURING THE/SALEM VILLAGE WITCHCRAFT HYSTERIA/OF 1692 (On book:) THE BOOK OF LIFE (On wall: quotes from victims) signed Description:  This memorial to those who died during the Salem Village witch trials of 1692 consists of a semicircular granite wall engraved with the names of twenty-five who died and quotes from eight of those executed. The top of the wall is engraved with the image of a Puritan judge. In front of the wall, a lectern is engraved with Puritan symbols. On top of the lectern are chains with broken manacles and an open book incised with the words, "The Book of Life."
