Description:
This memorial to those who died during the Salem Village witch trials of 1692 consists of a semicircular granite wall engraved with the names of twenty-five who died and quotes from eight of those executed. The top of the wall is engraved with the image of a Puritan judge. In front of the wall, a lectern is engraved with Puritan symbols. On top of the lectern are chains with broken manacles and an open book incised with the words, "The Book of Life."
