    Description: 
    Abstract sculpture made with mild steel hollows and square tubes assembled in repetitive forms, stacked in layers. The sculpture is installed on a flat concrete base.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was financed by the city of Lincoln via the Winnett Trust (administered by the Park and Recreation Department), the Nebraska Arts Council, the Eleventh Street Gallery and private donors. The Lincoln Arts Council also gave $250 towards the general expenses of the project. The horizontal abstract work is meant to be a visual portrait of the state. IAS files contain transcription of artist's quote, which expands on the title of the piece.
