    Margaret (Peggy) W. Driscoll, born in Cloquet, Minnesota in 1902 was the first woman president of St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland and Santa Fe. She was also a founder and vice-president of the National Ghost Ranch Foundation. She died in an automobile accident in 1981. Nearby plaque reads: MARGARET W. DRISCOLL/1902-1981/Her life was like unto a pebble dropped/in the sea that sends it wide circles/to a hundred shores.
