    Remarks: 
    Funded with a National Endowment for the Arts, Art in Public Places grant of $50,000 given in 1975 to the City and County of Honolulu. The sculpture was also funded through the One Percent for Art in Public Buildings program. The cost was $120,000. Fabrication by Patterson-Leith, Craig Daniels, fabricator coordinator; construction by Hawaiian Crane and Rigging, Charles (Chuck) Watson, coordinator. IAS files contain related newsclippings from the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, Dec. 25, 1975, pg. C3, 7; Star-Bulletin, Nov. 25, 1976, A20; the Honululu Advertiser April 21, 1977, pg.
