    A bronze bust of McKinley rests atop a square granite base that is adorned with an allegorical female figure reaching up toward the bronze bust. The figure represents Fame.

    Remarks: 
    Originally the monument was installed on a knoll about 200 feet from a highway, but the monument was relocated to its current sited in 1920. W. F. Cook Granite Company furnished and erected the base, and was responsible for moving the monument to its new location in Court Square. The total cost of the monument was $15,000.
