Description:
Four columnade lampposts, each representing a different mission in the San Antonio area: Concepcion, Espada, San Juan and San Jose. Each lamppost is topped with a glass cast lamp resting on a bronze base. Each lamp is shaped like the bell tower of a different mission. The rounded columns of the posts are covered with a brightly colored abstract ceramic tile mural. Below the rounded column is a square concrete die. Each face of the die has a ceramic tile mural depicting a specific mission, showing detailed and panoramic views of the building and surrounding countryside. The fourth side of each die is a mural of a map of the San Antonio river with an indication of where the mission is located along the river. Two lampposts are located at each end of a bridge.
