Description:
A standing male tightrope walker taking a step along an imaginary tightrope. A female stands on his shoulders, her head bent down looking at the male who stares straight ahead. Both figures balance themselves with their arms out to the sides.

Remarks:
This sculpture was presented to Columbia University by friends and colleagues as a tribute to Gen. William Donovan (1883-1959). Donovan was a veteran of WWI, nicknamed "Wild Bill" for his valor in military service.
