    Remarks:
John H. Willey (1899-1984) worked at Bass Pro and was their "mascot" posing for calendar pictures. When he died his likeness was sculpted from one of the calendar photos. The Bass Pro Shops commissioned the sculpture, one of three castings made. IAS files contain an interview with the artist's wife, Judith Noble Fowler, discussing the sculpture's creation.
