    Remarks:
This memorial commemorating General Casimir Pulaski was erected by the Pulaski Memorial Statue Committee, organized Oct. 14, 1934. The cost of the memorial was $14,530.74, with most of the funding coming from private contributors from New Hampshire and Massachusetts, and local fund-raising events. The City of Manchester and the State of New Hampshire each contributed $1,500, and the Federal Arts Project of the Works Progress Administration paid the artist's salary. The base was fabricated in Concord, New Hampshire. In August of 1988, the memorial was given a 50th Anniversary celebration. A plaque on block in front of memorial reads: FEDERAL ART PROJECT/PULASKI MEMORIAL/1937/W.P.A.
