    Remarks:
Roy Carver, developer of the Shell Plaza, commissioned this enlarged version of Cynthia Barber's "MoonJump." The sculpture was the city's first outdoor commission. IAS files contain a related article from Sculpture Magazine (Nov./Dec. 1987): pg. 46, which provides a brief history of the sculpture's commissioning and creation. The SOS! survey reports that the base is concrete and the Sculpture Magazine article notes that the base is stainless steel.
