    Remarks: 
    The pipes that make up the sculpture are filled with expandable urethane and coated with liquid plastic to retain the color. The sculpture is not secured to the base and has been stolen multiple times. The pipes were donated by Columbia Auto Parts located in Columbia, Maryland. IAS files contain transcriptions on adjacent plaque and an article from an unidentified source entitled "From Tailpipe to Pipe Act."
