    Description:
A rectangular relief panel above the main entrance to the Georgia State Prison depicts seven muscular male figures engaged in activities representing construction, crafts, textiles, sports, mechanics, and agriculture. In the center of the relief is a bare-chested male seated on a throne holding the scales of justice. An owl, possibly symbolizing wisdom, is next to him. He is flanked by three males on each side.
On the far left, representing Construction, is a standing male figure holding brick laying tools. The next figure, symbolizing Crafts, kneels in front of a small chest and holds a hammer in his proper right hand. The next figure, representing Textiles, holds a large spool in his proper left hand and a length of fabric in his proper right hand. On the far right, a standing male figure, representing Agriculture, holds a scythe in his proper right hand. The next figure, symbolizing Mechanics, kneels beside a large gear on his proper left side. The next figure, representing Sports, is dressed in shorts and holds a ball against his proper right hip.
