    Remarks:
Commissioned by the Dutch Clark Stadium Sculpture Committee upon the renaming of the stadium from the Pueblo Public School Stadium. It was financed with funds raised in the private sector. The artist, Nick Latka, was a sculpture instructor at the University of Southern Colorado (USC) and his brother Tom Latka supervised the construction of the base. Robert Doyle, a Pueblo High School student, was the model for the sculpture. Earl H. "Dutch" Clark (1906-1978) was a professional football player from Fowler County, Colorado. The sculpture was cast at the USC foundry. The sculptor was assisted by Jess Holmes and several students and former students of the USC art department. Triple S Welding assisted in the installation and Colorado Concrete Structures provided technical advice and assistance in casting the base arches. IAS files contain articles from the Pueblo Star-Journal and Sunday Chieftain, Dec. 13, 1981 and the text of all the plaques.
