Description:
The stone is carved in relief with letters spelling out IDAHO. Surrounding the stone is a lead frame adorned with bronze rosettes at each corner. The lower part of the lead frame is incised with MCMXXVIII.

Remarks:
One of 193 commemorative stones set into the interior walls of the Washington Monument. The stones were donated by states, cities, towns, organizations, individuals, and foreign countries in honor of George Washington. The State of Idaho donated the stone, which is located at the 400 ft. level. The stone was designed by Tourtellote and Hummel architects, Boise, Idaho.
