    Provenance:
Formerly located Domino's Italian Village, Lincoln, Nebraska 1957-1975.
    Remarks:
Originally commissioned for Domino's Italian Village Restaurant in 1957. When the restaurant closed in 1975, the land was sold to the American Legion Post no. 3 who then donated the fountain to the City. The cupid statue has been repeatedly vandalized. It was toppled and smashed in 1976; and broken again in 1994. Both times it was repaired. The cupid statue was again toppled and smashed in the spring of 2003. The fountain was broken in 1988 and repaired by Walter Krogman of Krogman Tile Company. IAS files contain related articles from the Lincoln Journal-Star, Aug. 2, 1988 and April 22, 2003.
