Description:
A bronze statue of a soldier dressed for battle, positioned atop a large marble and concrete base with several bronze plaques attached. The soldier stands with feet shoulder width apart, proper left hand on hip. In his proper right hand he holds a rifle. The rifle is positioned vertically, with the butt beside his proper right foot. He wears a uniform which includes a helmet, belt with pouches, fatigues, and calf-high boots.
