    Description: 
    Solar calendar fountain consists of an angled ring with thirty-two jets of water which converge at its center. The ring rests in the center of a slightly domed circle of pavers which contain ridges marked with dates of the solar calendar. Shadows cast by the sun through a slit on top of the ring is calculated to fall on the appropriate ridge.
