Description:
A bronze eagle with wings spread, atop a granite half-sphere, atop tall Corinthian column and octagonal base. The lower half of the column is decorated with a relief of two draped flags over three wreaths. The capital of the column features the shield of the United States.

Remarks:
The largest section of the monument cost $1,585.70 and was fabricated by Guidici Bros. & Company of Barre, Vermont. The monument's base, die, column, and ball cost $1,500. The eagle cost $375 and was fabricated by the Jno. Williams, Inc. American Bronze Company supplied the plaques.
