Remarks:
Incoming report listed artist as M. Takahafhi. IAP cataloger believes the artist's last name is probably the more common spelling Takahashi. According to Edan Milton Hughes' text "Artists in California, 1786-1940," Katsuzo Takahasi was active in California in the 1890s, produced watercolor and oil seascapes, figures, still lifes and landscapes.
