The panels are flat and sit parallel to each other, increasing in size from one end of the pool to the other. The larger pool has 11 vertical panels and the smaller pool has 9. The panels are painted white and form a spherical composition that is divided in half and offset along a northeast/southwest axis formed by the pools. At the north end of the fountain is an area with eight flagpoles. South of the fountain is a continuous, curved, concrete bench that extends the full width of the fountain. Behind the bench is a sodded earth berm and two rows of planted trees.
