Description:
Bronze bas-relief plaque depicting a waist-length male figure. He holds a cap in his proper left hand. His proper right hand is raised with the palm facing forward as if swearing an oath. In the distance behind his proper left shoulder is the face of a woman; behind his proper right shoulder is the face of a man who also has a hand raised. The relief plaque is mounted on a polished red granite panel which is attached to the side of a brick column.

Remarks:
The relief is one of a series of fifteen by various artists commissioned by Fine Arts Ltd. of St. Louis, MO. The relief is part of the founder's set of the series which is installed in Heritage Court on the College campus. IAS files contain copies of related College brochures "The Liberty Commemorative Bas-Relief Series" and "Celebrate Your Family Heritage in a Unique and Lasting Way".
