Description:  Eleven silver-colored child-sized faces with abstracted figures, including one that wears a crown-like hat, made into twenty-one pieces. Subject:  Children Dress -- Accessory -- Hat Object Type:  Outdoor Sculpture -- Washington -- Bainbridge Island Sculpture Owner:  Administered by Bainbridge Island School District, 8489 Madison Avenue, N.E., Bainbridge Island, Washington 98110 Located Commodore Middle School Library, Madison Avenue, North of High School Road, Courtyard, Bainbridge Island, Washington Remarks:  The faces were selected and cast from seventy-five clay masks made by 8th graders at the Commodore Middle School in 1987. Bob Lucas cast and welded the faces to the figures. Erika Szigethy directed the project as part of the 1987-1988 Winter Festival. According to Erika Szigethy, "the faces represent the children's visions of individuals drawn from throughout the world."
