    Remarks: 
    The Benjamin Carr House stood on the southeast corner of Greene Farm, at the corner of Conanicus Avenue and Knowles Court, Jamestown. It was built around 1810. A legend on the back of the painting states the house had been the home of the wife of Captain Kidd. The painting was given to the Jamestown Museum by the artist's cousin.
