    Relief figure of Christopher Columbus kneels on a vertical, rectangular stele. The figure wears a tunic, boots and a cape. He kneels on his proper left knee and holds a scroll aloft in his proper right hand.

    Remarks: 
    Erected by the La Columbus Catholic Society of the Tarrytowns. The sculpture is based on a Columbus by Emma Stebbins in 1867, which is located in Queens. It was originally located in Depot Plaza, Columbus Square in Tarrytown. The memorial was cleaned for the 500th anniversary of the Columbus's voyage in 1992.
