Description:
High-relief copy of da Vinci's painting "The Last Supper", rendered in white Carrara marble. Jesus and the disciples are depicted seated behind a long table. The sculpture is mounted vertically on a red granite slab. Low red granite walls extend out on either side and end in short granite steps. The sculpture and base rest on a two-tiered concrete platform.

Remarks:
Buttini was commissioned for the sculpture, but passed away before it was completed; Solari completed the sculpture in early 1958. Bruce Memorial (Marble) acted as intermediary in the commissioning. The sculpture was cleaned in 1985. For further reading see: The Fort Worth Press, June 30, 1959.
