Sculpture: Painted and tarred tin nailed to undetermined media; Base: concrete.

Sculpture: approx. 15 ft. x 50 1/2 in. x 3 3/4 in.; Base: approx. 4 in. x 84 in. x 4 ft. 10 in.

A stele form with, at the top, a cut-out shape with a shell of a boat looking battered or sunk. On the boat, the keel is intact and five ship ribs are exposed. The stele is composed of painted tin pieces nailed to its surface. Colors include black, rust, orange and turquoise, and unpainted natural tin color.
