    Description: 
    Figure of a Native American seated on a horse with his proper right hand raised in a greeting. His proper left hand rests on his left thigh. He is dressed in a loin cloth and moccasins. On his head is a long feathered headdress with two curved horns, one on either side of his head. Around his neck is a shell necklace. Two very long braids of hair hang down on either side of his chest.

    Remarks: 
    Sculpture was purchased by the Fairmount Park Art Association for 6,000 dollars. Dallin selected the site on Dauphin Street for the installation. The Smith Granite Company was responsible for creating the base.
