    Description: 
    Two male police officers stand at attention, arms at their sides, facing forward. The officer on the left wears a standard police officer hat, a police uniform, a tie, and a gunbelt holding a gun and pouch. The officer on the right wears a wide-brimmed, smokey-style hat, a police uniform, a tie, and a gun and pouch attached to his belt. The figures are mounted atop a platform with a sunken top.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture honors law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty in Baton Rouge. Proceeds for the sculpture, and the law memorial plaza in which it sits, were raised through the Baton Rouge Law Enforcement Memorial Fund. The sculpture and plaza were dedicated on May 15, 1992, National Police Officers Memorial Day.
