    Two abstract, entwined figures with featureless faces. The female has angular breasts and curved belly suggesting pregnancy. The surface of the sculpture is rough. It has a greenish patina and is set on a star-shaped base.

    Remarks: 
    Cast no. 1/6. The sculpture was loaned to the city, originally for one year, by Austin developers Max Kugler and Dick Rathgeber. It was installed in Republic Square Park pending construction of the developers' new University Office Park. A display agreement with the city was reached in August 1986. Designed in 1985, the base cost $1,500 and was paid for by Downtown Austin Partners, Inc. IAS files contain related article from The Austin American-Statesman, Jan. 12, 1986, Sec. B, pg. 5, discussing the city's consideration to accept the sculpture as a loan. For related reading see The Austin American-Statesman, Jan. 14, 1986, Sec. AAS Onward, pg. 22.
