Some mounds contain aluminum inserts with wood benches. Subject:  Abstract Object Type:  Outdoor Sculpture -- Wisconsin -- Madison Earthwork Bench Site-specific Sculpture Owner:  Destroyed. Provenance:  Formerly in the collection of University of Wisconsin-Madison, 2135 Herrick Drive, Madison, Wisconsin 53706 Remarks:  Commissioned under the Wisconsin Arts Board Percent for Arts Program. The sculpture was created and installed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, west of 420 Henry Mall, in 1985.
