    Description: 
    Three scientists, a female flanked by two males, are seated and talking to each other. The female has her back slightly turned to the male on her proper left and both face the male on her proper right, who faces them with his proper right hand to his chest. The males both have short hair and the female has shoulder-length hair with a skirt whose hem falls to her calf. The sculpture is mounted upon a rectangular base with a plaque on the front.

    Remarks: 
    Commissioned by Dr. Virginia Peters, who wanted a sculpture representative of Woods Hole. Sculpture was located at Dr. Peters' home until she moved and gave it to the Marine Biological Laboratory in 1991. Sculpture is the second of two castings.
