    Description: 
    A carillon with a steel beam structure between which are three graduated sized bells without clappers. The bells are radio controlled to play various taped music. There is a speaker system at the top of the carillon.

Nearby plaque reads: AMVET/PRESENTED AND DEDICATED/A CARILLON/AS A LIVING MEMORIAL/TO MARYLAND VETERANS/WHO SERVED THEIR COUNTRY/FOR THE CAUSE OF FREEDOM/SEPTEMBER 29, 1984/CROWNSVILLE VETERANS CEMETRY (sic)/"As these bells ring...honored dead rest...freedom lives."
