Interior scene with a man seated at a table raising a glass held in his proper left hand to his departing visitor, a man who stands on the right. A woman leans on the chair of the seated man. All of the figures were historic dress. The man standing wears a cape, hat, gloves, boots and carries a sword. A cat sits on a chest at the left. There is an open window in the background and paintings on the walls in the upper left and upper right corners.
