Remarks:
The sculpture was completed by the artist, then in residency as part of an "artist-in-the-schools" program. The artist planned the piece as a play sculpture for children. The model was developed by upper class students at the Academy; the ceramic mosaics were done by pre-schoolers from the Academy.
