    Description: 
    A bas-relief bronze portrait medallion of John Muir Whitehill in proper right profile. He wears a jacket and tie and holds a pipe in his proper right hand. The medallion is installed in a square stone slab embedded among the pavers in front of Anne Whitney's sculpture of Samuel Adams (IAS record 76008355).
